Arrow another mouse question

Along with my corn, I bought 2 pinkies at the show. After a rap on the floor (which was really quick and sudden... I doubt they went through any pain) I put one in to tempt him with (although he might not eat for a while, until he's used to his surroundings?), but the other I want to freeze... it's in a freezer bag, in the freezer right now, but when I go to thaw it out, what's the accepted method? Floating it in warm water for say 10 minutes or until it's all soft again?

I know I've seen this info on the net, but I can't for the life of me remember where! My brain must be overloaded from my first show :P

Just thaw it out in the hottest water that comes from the tap until it's all soft and warm.

Hot tap water. It should float at first, then sink to the bottom when it's thawed completely.

Thanks!

How warm should it be when I offer it to him?

I"ve had them take the pinks right out of the water, and at other times not until it's cooled for a few minutes. Guess it just depends on the snake, and the mood he/she is in.
