first shed, big difference

I can already tell that with each shed im going to see HUGE color changes in my little jcp. The brownish color he once had when I first got him has now turned much more black and silvery.

Im very excited. He also shed perfectly with eye caps n all

When I first got him.

Just after a shed.

Yea, still amazing. Im very surprised he hasnt tried to bite. I almost want him to bite

My cage plans are going to be a melamine verticlly shaped enclosure with sliding glass front. It will measure 4 feet high, 18 inches deep, and 18 inches wide. From what I understand thats bigger then necessary but I like bigger

Get into jcp's, they're freakin awesome!!

I think that I would put that cage on its side, 4 feet wide, 2 deep and 2 tall.

There is NO NEED for 4' of height as it will just be harder to get the proper temps throughout...

He will do plenty of climbing w/o having to have 4' height and then the only way that he can 'stretch out' is to hang from a branch. Carpets should be more horizontally oriented with some vertical space as well.

I keep mine in 36Lx24wx18t and they get plenty of climbing done in there plus are allowed to thermoregulate as they choose.

Good luck!
