Congrats Tim!
So yours have finally piped!
And you have the spotted hondos too!
I had one from MarcB too! He was an awesome breeder plus great feeder~
if I remember correctly that 'spotted' is a genetical thing~
so I guess your hondos were het for spotted~
Awesome looking little one!
Hope that the rest of the clutch looks like it!
More pics when more come out alright?

That's really cool looking! I love that spotting! I think it's much more interesting than regular banding on those guys. Which is odd because with Cal Kings, I much prefer perfect banding over any "crazyness"

Talk to Marc and see if you have any of his lineage. I sold a pair of spotteds that were somewhat like that last year for $750. It would be wise to figure out what's going on my man!!
Oh, and CONGRATS! The wait is OVER!

Lucky you Tim. I was happy with just a little aberrancy this year but those are killer. Congrats.

Congrats!!
That's an awesome looking snake. I just wish hondos were under 3 feet so I could keep them and still keep my insurance people happy.
Guess I'll just have to drool over the pictures.

Very nice Tim,
Your adult pair might also be descendants from the Stockwell lineage which has produced spectacular aberrant hondos in the past.
Cool looking hondo!
Get in touch with me if interested in swapping...

Ironic that Roy - ol' - boy is responsible for all the great arberrant Hondos around here, yet he doesn't even like them! Ha ha Roy, I guess we should thank you nonetheless!

Well, I checked on the last few to see if they were out this morning and I REALLY said "What the #%@$?!?!" This time!
The adults are just "normal" tangerines I got from Henry in 2002. I've contatcted him to see if he has seen or heard of anything like this from other siblings and what-not.
MAN, this one is cool looking! It's belly is almost entirely BLACK!
So far 3/5 are out. 2 aberrant/stripped/spotted and 1 normal poss het.

OMG dude, that second one is AWESOME :jawdrop:
I'm not a fan of the abberrants that only have one or two broken bands. But something like that is kinda(actually REALLY) cool.
