Not sure how many Niles get "misted" in the wild. I would doubt it would help. Good monitor husbandry does NOT start with misting them. Go here for great info:
I beleive ive seen it said a few times here. Im not new to monitors at all, but that was a question i have had for a while. I mist my nile ever few days and he loves it, he stands straight up and just closes his eyes, so it seems he enjoys it.....
Jeff your right but we are talking of captive one. And i'm not sure but i think rain fall sometime in Africa...Anyway i mist mine, it help is shedding and he like it
