Emeralds on the ground

Did it ever happen to you guys to find your emeralds at night totally spread out on the ground like a ground boa? I just moved mine from it's small cage but i found him on the ground for the first time a few minutes ago... It was pretty awake and about to strike at me ( it didn't and had never done it since i've had it, nearly 4 months now )... I also changed him from 1/2' perchs to 3/4' perchs with the cage exchange... It has been there, in the new cage, for at least 2 days now and it hasn't coiled in a ball like it would always do and now i find it on the ground... Perhaps it is still pretty stressed out! The temps and humidity are pretty stable at a nice 27-30 degrees during the day and 25-26 degrees at night with humidity going from 85 dayly to 70-75% at night... I'm pretty stressed out myself about the snake not coiling around and all ( and finding him on the ground, also!!! ). I put one of it's older perchs back in today just to make sure it had the choice! I decided to pic it up and put if back on it's perch.. What is to be done is there a problem???

phil.
