The barron python book has a good section on them as well as in the Reproductive Husbandry of Pythons and Boas. They appear on my local pet shops import list all the time for like $60.

They can be a bit of a pain in captivity. Though commonly docile, they are problem feeders, and almost impossible to breed. Even if you do get a successful breeding, you'll get 2 babies max. This is why you don't usually see CB specimens... the payoff isn't worth the headache.
