collard lizard breeding this year anyone?
hi,
Was just wondering if anyone was breeding Collard Lizards this year because my female layied 4 sweet eggs on Saturday.
If anyone is do they have any tips for incubation?

my 2 girls got 6 eggs each, so 12 in total. one is now already fatty with eggs.
a aquarium with a diogonale roof. a kricketbox with vermiculiet. 50% water 50% vermiculiet (mass). many ventilation holes under kricketboxes lid. The lid must be diogonal as well, so the condens cannot drip onto the eggs. Aquariumheater in water at 29 degrees celsius.
i have not got a better pic now...

so i promised some more pics...
first, a cool piece of shedskin
and the eggs in their boxes
and the thermomter and aquaheater
THERE is no timer connected BTW, it's fot my leopardgecko
Notice the lids which are not horizontal !!
And a pic of two eggs
they look very tight and less brown then at the pic.

thanks alot, im gunna try makin a incubator like that, it looks really good. My eggs dont look like that thou  . mine look kinda brown........... hmmmmmmmm. well it is her 1st cluch ever!

aw eggs! new babies are great. sadly my collard lizard passed away two weeks ago. turned out he was older than the pet store told me he was. i talked to the breeder that sold him to the store. he had used him to breed for "years" he said. not sure how many years though. old age comes quickly for the little guys.
