Thanks guys. Yep, they're wicked-lookin' critters alright. They are actually quite inoffensive.
SapphireMoon: Is it a hybrid? No, this is <html><i>Elaphe (Pseudelaphe) flavirufa flavirufa </i></html>, from Central America.
These snakes seem to be almost strictly nocturnal in my experience, hence the gigantic eyes. They also show strong arboreal tendencies, and have correspondingly long and prehensile tails.

Damn but the eyes on those things are insane! Absolutely amazing Simon... I love those guys more every time I see them! Do you know when/if you expect to be producing some?
