dumb question
i know that this is most likely going to be a 'no' answer, but ill ask it anyway. can two female veiled live in a heavily planted cage that has two basking spots? the cage is 5high x 3 wide x 2 deep. im pretty sure it wouldnt be good, but i was wondering anyway.

it's true. they'll probably fight.. especially since they're veiled's. I have 1 male veiled in an enclosure about that size.. but I don't know much about the temperament of females compared to males.

I've got one cage that's 7h x 4w x 4d and I couldn't keep 2 female panthers in it, so I'm betting you wouldn't succeed with 2 female vields in your cage. Some might be laid back enough to take it, but they're more exceptions than the rule.

I wouldent recomend it, although it is possible. but veilds are umm the most agressive. I know my female would not like sharing her food at all lol.

ha ha, like collide said it is possible! But you have to take a chance, but i wouldnt, just to be on the safe side, seprate them. Maybe from when there little to grown ups maybe they will get along but i doubt it

the best you could do would be to build a double cage and then have a divider so they can't even see eachother. then, to make it all look like one cage, have a tall growing plant of some sort on both sides of the divider to mask it. an idea at least.

the petstore by my house has a 2x2x4 enclosure with 4 or 5 females not saying its right i dissagree but theyve lived together for about a year and a half now, they also have two of the same size eclosures with about six males each and they get along fine, plus every cham they have drinks from a water dish and they are veilds
