Tat artists??
Hey everyone!
Lookin for places in Ontario that can do excellent life-like reptilian tats. I'm inkless right now, but when I find a good artist I got numerous creatures I'd like to get done on me. Mostly snakes, but maybe a lizard and gator too. They'd need to be in colour, price isn't really an issue as long as it looks amazingly detailed and real, I'd rather pay more for a masterpiece then be cheap and not be completely satisfied with my tats. I know there's plenty of members with tats so whos the talented artists??

Don't know of any in Ontario. I get mine done in Fargo, North Dakota at Addictions Tattooing and Piercing. One of the owners is a friend of mine. Of course I only get one done whenever I'm home visiting. So if you are ever in the area or anyone else, stop on in to Addictions and give them a look/see.

The best way to go about it is go to Tattoo parlours and look at the different artists work. You will able to see what they are capable of an each ones style. Plus most tattoo artists can copy images pretty good. So if you know someone who can draw really really well you could then bring the pic to the shop and see if someone can re-create it.

I want a scorpion done on one shoulder, and a tarantula on the other. I want them realistic, not patterns.

I agree with Retic
Lannie Glover in Peterborough is the best I have seen. I personally have two tattoos from him.

Haha, Yve me too! I'm not sure what Tarantula I will get but the Scorpions are down to A. australis or B. Jacksoni. I might have the tail going down my arm a bit.

There are a few very good artists in Ontario I would recommend.
Bob Paulin did my first tat. He has won countless awards for his realism and whatnot. I swear almost every mag I pick up has him in it. He does absolutely amazing stuff. You can see a lot of his work featured on BME. He sold his first shop to open Sacred Flash in Welland, but since sold it, although he still does tats out of it. It has currently been sold yet again (to Bobby, not to be mistaken for Bob) and everything is being organized and whatnot. I think Bob is still working out of there though. The site has been taken down under the new owner, but the phone number is (905) 714-0010
My new tat artist is Justin from Belmont Lounge in Thorold. He does really sweet work, and it can be viewed on his site at www.belmontlounge.com
I've seen a few people with Jamie Izumi's work as well, and have looked through his portfolio online in the past and he does awesome work as well.
