you can house as many females as will fit in the space given but no more than one male per area. If you house female with male you WILL get babies.

LOL only if the other one is like full grown and the other is like 6". Dont get me wrong a bigger beardie will ALWAYS get the better basking spot more food and dominance so its best to house beardies that are within 3 or 4 inches of each other.

I had a male and a female together in the same tank. They where both about 4 months old. The male tried to eat the female, and actually had a good chunk of her down his throat. It wound up killing her, but Dr. Gonzo has never been better. I don`t reccomend putting them all together personally.

A 55 gallon for 2 beardies isn't big enough. Are you going to have 2 basking spots (for both of them). What happens if they fight are you going to be able to seperate them??? This is somehing you have to be prepaired for. Also how is their setup the temp, substrate, "furniture", do they have a heat lamp and a uvb bulb.
