While were on the subject of venomoids....
The SHHS is holding a poll concerning controversial practices in venomous herpetoculture. Venomoids are on the list. This is an opportunity for everyone to cast their vote and voice their opinions on these practices.

Voted gee wonder what i checked off.... I still find it repulsive that of all groups the SHHS allows venomoids on their site. Did they change their name to the Southern HOT or venomoid Society. This would be one group I would have expected to firmly plant their feet and say ONLY HOTS.

I voted, we were up to 77%. Even though there were other issues on the list, I HATE the people who create and purchase these poor beasts. I would like to remove some of their body parts as well.....

BTW I just voted for venomoids as well. I didn't realize that people out there devenomed their hot snakes unitil I read a book that I just bought. Sickening. Lets take out these "Hot" owners saliva glands and see how they fare. I don't keep hots myself but still if you are gonna do it then change your methods not your animals!
