Very nice indeed. Do you have any more pics of that snake? I love corals. I hope I see one next time I come down to Florida, which will be late March instead of February like I thought it was going to be.

Oh yeah, how long was that snake?

Shaggybill, I have a few more of this snake, and a few of another I found last year. You can email me for others if you want.
Or there's a different shot on the "Field Herping" forum here at sSnakeSs. They're using a pic of mine over there at that other site at the elapids forum too.
I'd say she was between 20"-24" give or take a bit.

She's very beautiful, I would love to go field herping and find some gorgeous elapids.

Shag if your down in late march chances are decent you might find one just before dark. I normally find a few around that time of year.

Thanks Mustangrde1, I plan to do alot of road cruising as well as getting out into the woods. I have to say though that my main goal is an EDB. I emailed the people over at Dupuis(sp?)Reserve and they said they have only seen a couple of them in the last few years, but they hadnt really been looking for them. I plan to try my luck over there anyways. I'm getting ants in my pants to use my new camera.

Thank you for the offer, I appreciate it. I must say though that I am mainly interested in the huge thrill I get upon finding ones in the wild. When I come down, all my herping adventures will be done as time allows. I wont really have the luxury of actually planning trips much in advance. But if something would work out, I'd love to see your collection someday. I went to your website and you have some killer snakes. (no pun intended)
