False Water Cobras
My husband is wanting a False Water Cobra real bad. I, however have 2 questions for you the experts. 1. Where can you buy them in the US and 2. Does anyone know anything about their venom? I know they're rear fanged, but I've read a lot of conflicting information on the internet. Any help at all would be great.
Thank you.

For purchasing in the US checkyour local State laws in reguards first to owning anything venomous. As to where to purchase them you can try several diffrent classifieds online normally under the venomous section.
As to the venom and make up of the venom and its effect. That is best left to perhaps Dr Fry or others who have personally kept or been tagged by one.

They pop up in our classified all the time. www.venomousreptiles.org. However, you should know they are illegal in TN and Walter will confiscate them and prosecute you if he finds out you have them. He is a real stickler for venomous. Mitch from Diamond reptiles is the only guy I know who has been tagged by one. He didn’t get any medical attention. He told me that the bite had little local pain, but his kidneys hurt for days after the bite.

Chuck:
Thank you for the information on TN laws. We decided against the FWC.
