The scary thing was is that that's how wives were expected to act in 1953. I would hate to have a wife for a slave.

WOW that is some crazy "rule guide". I think life would be completely annoying if that happened. Im glad most of those stereotypical views of women and their "place" as house wives have been dismissed. Its funny to read though...just how different life once was for ppl.
