New Enclosure Plans... A few tips please.
Tell me what you think about these plans. Should I make any changes? These are first drawings.... I'd like to know if this design is going to work before I start building. This is my very first snake enclosure...

I had a look a them. Interesting design. Takes a long time too download for those of us with dial up. Try resaving the file with a higher compression ratio.
I would probably make the stand 28"-32" instead of 36", but it's a pesonal preference thing. Beyond that, it's hard to comment without knowing what species it is being designed for.

If it's a snake enclosure, why do you have space for a flourescent tube light? Snakes DO NOT require UV lighting, and some reports even suggest that it can be irritating to a snake.

I have heard that ceramic heaters can dry out a cage/snake. and what exactly is the "hole cut in" for? is it a tunnel for the snake? What is the 10 gal tank for? his water bowl/humidity since the heating pad is underneath it.
I would personally use a UTH for the main source of heat. Though it is only a personal opinion.
But whatever you decide to do, post some pics when your done, it looks like it will be an awesome setup.

It's for my 3'.5" Red Tail. The hole is where I have the log going up so the snake can get to the 3rd floor. The flouresent light was for just tipical lighting. The 10g. tank is for water/humidity. I was thinking about running a fish pump to circulate fresh water. Thanks for all you comments, they will help me out a lot.

you can have to warm spots as long as you have a side where the snake can cool down..as for the wattage, experiment because you just need to make sure you have the right temps. Id start at 100 watt and gradually move up if your not hitting the right temps
