6x3x2 Laminated Plywood*PICS*

Well after about 5 weeks and $60 later my boas new home is complete.
1/4 inch plexi-glass

Can you spot a boa in this picture?

A little sloppy up in the corner but its temporary.

Im using (4) Desert Rays Radiant Heat Panels to heat it.

Thank you,

CM.

I agree it is big for him, but this snake will eat no matter what, i fed him yesterday and he was blue, i put the rat at one end of the cage and within five seconds he started makin his way over to it, he is a PIG! There is alot of palces for him to hide, but he is not shy at all. I am definately thinking of putting a divider in though.

As long as the BCI has a hide, he probably won't care one bit how big the rest of the terrarium is.

Munky, that terrarium is a jaw-dropper. Very nice setup!

After one day of use, i am amazed on how well this thing holds humidity, i sprayed it once and humidity was at 75-80% For hours and hours!! With my other enclsure i had to spray like 5 or more times a day to keep the humidity up.

It's a great setup, but don't you worry about your snake getting into that tape?

...

That is a GREAT enclosure dude!! It is an understatement when I say that you have SKILLZ!!!

2 things though:

1) Too big for a baby. It may eat, it may live, it may grow. But it will grow 10x faster in a smaller cage/Rubbemaid. But I'm not telling you what to do.

2) Ditch the astroturf. That substrate is for you, not the snake.

Cage construction? Too damn awesome for words!! People sell cages like that for $300+. No joke. Good stuff man.
