I'm surprised they don't build tunnels under the road for a snake and frog underpass....

i asked my construction teacher and he said its just easier to make roads then make bridges everywhere.

Lisa, in Manitoba we have a bunch of snake underpasses on the way out to the snake pits. In the past, you'd drive out and could tell how close you were to the pits by the increasing number of dead snakes on the road. Now that they have the fence up on each side of the road and a bunch of underpasses, the number of dead snakes has dropped significantly.

It's nice to see that they are taking steps elsewhere as well....

they wouldn't need big bridges, just those galvanized pipes that you see for driveways to cross ditches...
