Student Loan??

Hey im trying to find some companies that give out loans, u know the ones on tv.

Well my friend has a problem and he doesn't have a job cuz he got fired. Anyway he doesn't have the tuition money to get into school and i really want him to come since i hate doing anything alone . He's tried most banks and they simply denied him cuz he didn't have much credit. his parents aren't going to pay for him, and hes gotta get it himself.

any help would be greatly appreciated. thx

its never too late for osap...(thats a lie, u cant do it the last month or wutever of the semester)
actually, thats for having your papers released, maybe it is to late to actually apply... I am on OSAP, i got $7600'ish. Barely covers my stuff but i get my spending money from my job.. thing is if i wanna buy a car next year (school is 30 min away), then i will get less osap so i gotta save more (might put it under my dads name and they wont know i have it)

sorry, that was offtopic. Just are u sure its too late? when are u guys going to school? the fall 2003 semester?

...

Provincial student loans can be applied for 6 weeks prior to the LAST day of classes. Therefore, there is PLENTY of time, unless he's apllying for LAST YEAR'S classes?

I would wait. Any loan service that is NOT a bank, will offer you a loan almost guaranteed, but pay CLOSE attention to the fine print. Interest rates may be as high as 29.5%. Tell your friend to get a job, and wait for the following semester, until he has enough collateral to apply and be accepted at a bank, or through OSAP.
