More Shots At Photography...

Okay guys, please don't laugh, this is pretty much the first time ever that I've attemped photography, and I was using a pretty low quality digital cam. This is why I want one with a decent macro, because these are the best I could get without it going all fuzzy on me. *sigh* (It's the digital cam borrowed from work...not too sure what type it was) Here's the results of me trekking through my backyard (Yes, I do have a weed problem *L*):

I wanted a better close-up of this fly, but not going to happen with current cam.

I messaged Invictus to find out what type of cam it was, it's a Kodak DC265.

Ah, ok well it's an ok digital for basic use.
I use to have one, then bought a rca one, and recently got an olympus c-4000, they are not expensive and are really good.

I think your pics look great RedDragon.

And nice avatar. FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!

Greg, love your avatar as well. That was one of my fav Farley skits. My first fav had to be Schmidts Gay.

Nice pics! I also do some photography. I'm looking to get a web site up with my photos soon. I need to get a better camera. I have a Canon Power Shot A40 right now, but I'm looking to get one of the upper scale Nikon CoolPix cameras. I just keeps spending all of my saved up money on snakes..

Hey, very nice pics for the beggining. I would really suggest when you purchase a camera, one with at least 3 megapixels and really good macro, (at least 3 inches). That is just the way I started, with a inexpensive camera taking pictures of anything I could, and its really the best way to do it.

Macro makes all the difference when you want to take extreme closeups for things like; snake identification, and that beautiful flower you want to give to someone, but its illegal to pick it (lol).

Here is a photo (my first one to be published)

And a Macro Shot

Let us know how you do with the photography

Best Wishes,

Lu

Its been 3 years since I purchased my first digital camera. I'm getting pretty good @ it, but I think I'm ready for the next level, underwater photography! I'm kicking it into over drive! I can't wait until this company comes out with a custome made waterproof cover for my camera. Everyone will have one eventually

nice pics Erin. Just make pics of everything you see and you will find the camera's maximum qualities. Once you have made the pics, you can open them in photoshop or something, crop the subject and zoom in on it, then save it. Just a little trick, but it works like a charm
