Cool snakes. Wow, a 20 year old W/C bull! That's pretty much unheard of, I think.... exceptionally rare at best.

*cough* 30 years old
Tim, you and me both. Still alittle annoyed that they offered to give it away then when I said I'd take it, they quickly changed there minds. Technically its owned by the government and is on a permanent "loan".
Interesting story about that snake (garter). It was siezed when someone tried to sneak 15 snakes across the boarder in boxes of cake mix (with actual mix still inside). all of the babies except for this one died.

Wow. I'm glad everyone noticed the bullsnake was 30 years old, and that Ken isn't going to be a math teacher any time soon.
Do you have any more information about the snake. I know a lot of people who would be interesting in having it's aged verified, as I am quite certain 30 years old is the new record (I don't know what the old one was, but I'd guess it was in the low 20's).
20 year old colubrids are very rare.

I worked with the reptiles in the David Lipscomb University zoology department. We had a number of varieties of snakes my favorite was a 6' cane brake. We also had an alligator (4-5') that went out for walks on a leash. In retrospect it was probably dangerous and irresponsible but nothing ever happened. I did it for 3 years and loved it.

Ryan, I mentioned that to the administrator. He didn't really seem interested.

Wow, a 30 year old Bull Snake, that's phenomenal. Very nice Albino Burm too, I have a real soft spot for them.
*LOL* Invictus; since when does having a birthdate of 1973 make you 20? With your mathematics, I'm only 14! *LMAO*

Invictus likes them young.
Acutally the bull could be even older then 30... seeing as it was wildcaught and aquired in 73.
PS i like your math Invictus. that makes me YOUNG
