Talking clumsy girl?

my bp Farkus is a climber she loves to climb the branches and things i have in there, i put them in ther so she would have some "grip" she is always trying to climb the glass, and usually ends up falling. i hear it all night, just a thud about every ten minutes. i race to see if shes ok, and by that time shes already started it on the other side of the cage. so my question is could i use those reptile hamocks in her cage so she stops falling, or are thos just for lizards? thanx

I don't know if they would take the weight or serve much of a purpose.

if it holds her weight I don't see why not? As long as she can't get through the netting....

Balls love to climb, and are usually pretty good at going up, its coming down thats always the problem As for those reptile hammocks, not so sure they would be of much help. They aren't that large and your snake would probably just fall off it. You also don't want your snake slithering up between the wall parts of it and getting tangled or stuck, because they do not give enough space for your snake to fit through.

Why not try the hammock and see what happens? It might not get used for very much besides a place to turn around so she can fall off the other way though...

i think one of the most endearing qualities of huxley is the fact that he is just so clumsy. i wouldn't worry about your snake hurting yourself as long as the walls to the tank aren't ridiculously high and you don't have sharp, pointy objects lining the tank. I love getting a little chuckle from seeing Huxels tip over while trying to look expansive.

Well its good to know i'm not the only one with a clumsy bp. Neo has had me in stitches with his climbing antics, i think his motto must be 'If at first ya don't suceed...........' Hehe!
With all the climbing he does i'm starting to wonder if he's not a tree boa in disguise!?!

Lol, Hugh does ALOT of climbing at night time (I can heari it) But its normal though. As my friends BP does it too. If it hurt them I'm sure they would stop but as Lilskip said, just keep the sharps at the bottom of the tank to a minimum. Lol...
