what kind?

I'm not sure what kind of Cobra this is dose anyone know?

This beauty is a Monocled cobra, a.k.a Naja n. kaouthia, and an albino at that. These are absolutely stunning animals and they are actually rather common. They reproduce readily in captivity and with being amel., the interest and effort was/is there to "make more". {These were the first elapid eggs I hatched many, many moons ago...well o.k. a couple of moons ago} They are not one of the larger species of cobras with adults usually reaching a max. of 5, maybe 6 ft. They are found throughout Burma, Thailand, and Vietnam north to northeastern India. They eat everthing, well, almost everything and juvies grow QUICK! They can {and usually will} reproduce in their second year. If you would like any further specific info, post your question or drop me a line. Hope this helps!

I just saw this picture and was like WOW! I really want to own venomous snakes when I'm older and have more land and experiences.

How long dose this species live? And do you own any pictures I could see?

Hi snake girl...sorry for the delay in this response...I was out of town for a couple of days, but I'm back. Anyway, these guys {N.n.kauothia} can live up to 20 years although 15 would be a normal life span and yes I do have pictures of some of these guys and I promise I'll post some soon. I kinda got sumthin" in the works so... keep in touch and I'll post 'em asap!

gotta luv the monocled cobra. They are actually the easiest of the cobras to keep, some may even consider them the least dangerous of the Naja to keep (if that can be said for any true Naja)
