My ball python is going thru a shed but it seems to be coming off really bad just in little chunks does any one have any ideas why or what i could do to fix it the humididty is at 70%

You can try a few thing to fix it and prevent it for next time.

Misting a couple times per week during the shed cycle...adding a humid hide. Use wet substrate in a hide box.....you can place him into a wet pillowcase for awhile to get the rest of those pieces of, or rub him down gently with a towel. I normally just overfill my water bowl (so some spills) when my BP is going to shed.

also, if you have a screen top, you can put a wet towel of 75% of the screen and it brings the humidity up nicely. to help out with the bad shed, you can wet a towel or a pillowcase (like marisa said) and place your bp in it. A good way to do this is to put the wet towel or whatever in a nice ventilated rubbermaid sweaterbox and leave your snake in there for 30 minutes.

how long should i leave it in the pillow case
caus i did that but didnt seem to get much off

how high do you want the humidity during a shed its at 70% now and stays between that and 60% all the time

When our Kenyans were having problems with shedding, I just placed their water source directly underneath their heat source. They shed perfectly after raising their humidity that way. You could try that too, depending on your heat source, you can place the water source directly above it (for a UTH) or below it (for heat bulbs) and that should raise the humidity quite nicely. Just remember to replenish your water source frequently.
