Looks good..... you may want to get part of your cage to a lower temp though.... like around the low 80s
Enjoy your uros.

Look's Real good but i have a question....
Is that play sand? If it is you should take a strainer and take out the sharp pices in it another good Substrate is Birdseed

Looks great! Although i'd have to disagree w/ Cas...i think the temps are just fine, they like the heat. I have the same temps that you have on my setup. I'm not sure how the sand will be, i've never used sand, i use a similar substrate to lizard litter. Good luck, they're awesome animals! Can't wait to see pics!

the basking spot is nice and hot, although I think that there should be a spot in the mid 80's, even if it is just 1/3 of the tank. My GF's Mali spends his time going back and forth between the 2 sides of his tank. Also, sand is OK, but it can cause impaction, so just be aware of that. Like someone else said, bird seed is a great substrate, you just have to make sure that the sunflower seeds are sifted out. All millet bird seed would be best.
Another thing to consider, Im pretty sure when they hide, they like to feel something touching their backs, it makes them feel more secure. Although it looks like that is possible on the hide on the right side. Are your rocks secured in anyway? You have to be careful with those big heavy setups, Uro's will move everything. I was talking to a breeder last night who has heard of Uro's getting killed because they were crushed by heavy objects in their tank.

I use large PVC type piping for my uro's hide. It looks pretty funny but he loves it and it's cheap!

I know that sand is a risk for geckos, but I cannot see it being one with Uros, They eat their fruits and veggies out of a large plate and the arnt diving for crickts in the sand or anything.
Thanks for the advice though on the temps, I have tons of bulbs so ill put on that gets temps to about 85F?.
I am pretty sure the rocks are secured, I fixed them so they dont jiggle or sway at all and on top of that they weigh about 3-4 pounds each so I dont think they could be easily moved.
Thanks for the tips!
Jeff

85F for your cool side would be great - will give your uro lost of temps to choose from.
It is still possible that the flat pieces on the top could get pushed or moved... personally, I'd secure them with a dab of silicone, just to glue them in place....... but you can tell better than I can how secure your rocks really are.

I agree with Cas about using some silicone to secure the rocks. Make sure when you silicone you are still able to lift out the pieces. Dont silicone them to the sides of the tank. (I made that mistake once and realized when my Leo went in the hide I couldnt open it to get him out.) I cant tell if the rocks are on the sand or if the sand is just around the rocks. They are big diggers and will burrow under the stones. If they aren't secured and buried in the sand you risk crushing the Uro. I wouldn't bother with birdseed. Keep it natural! Also Uros won't just eat off the plate they like to drag their veggies all over the cage. I like your basks where they are. Low 90s are perfect. The only thing you may have trouble with is finding the little guy. With all those hides you may never see him .

Thanks for the info, ill Silicone the rocks today. Actually its hard not to see the 2 of them lol, they are crazy! They climb up and down the mesh walls and tear around the cage constantly.
