Ahhh. what the heck am I getting into.

My BF has talked me into getting another leopard gecko. We had two gorgeous female normals for a few years as our first herps but sold them because I HATE crickets. I literally hate them. It's bad enough I have a cham now that eats them. LOL. Anyways but he promised to care for this one all on his own.

ANYWAYS! LOL.....The babys parents are Dad: a Super Hypo and Mom: a Hypo Tang.

I don't even know if this is the right termonology for the morphs or whatever. But does anyone know what this little baby should turn out like? Somewhat? I know they all vary a bit.

Thanks, and you know I will be posting photos when the little guy gets here! LOL

Congrats on the new addition The baby could really turn out to be anything -- lol. Although chances are pretty decent that since both parents are tangs, he/she will have pretty good colour. May or may not end up being hypo, only time will tell

You know that you don't HAVE to feed crickets, right? Mealworms are just fine as a staple diet, and then you can feed a variety of other worms, and only occasionally crickets as a treat

Good luck with the new addition! Get some pics if you get a chance

Clownfishie- Yeah I know that now. When I originally sold my first females I was a herp NEWBIE and had no idea I could ditch the crickets. But since we have the cham its already a must have shopping item basically. LOL.

I am planning on feeding crickets as a treat like you mentioned and mealies, butter worms (when we get them) and silkworms.

I will get pics as soon as she gets here thats for sure! lol
