leusitic (patternless) leo geckos color?
Do leucistic leo's start of a bronze color as babies and juvies then change to a ashy yellow? because the one the 2 leo geckos at the local petstore that are marked as leucistic are a bronzy brownish color for $60. they are male if that makes a difference?

Leus start off with blotches down their backs (not black dots - just coloured blotches) that later dissapear. Leus will have no black spots. And nope, sex doesnt make any difference.

Patternless leos vary greatly in colour (even as babies, although all babies will have the blotches that Zoe mentioned). Some are bright yellow, some are a darker yellow, some are browny yellow, some look downright greeny yellow. It varies between individuals, and also within an individual -- when a patternless is feeling stressed, quite often its colour will become more dull/brownish...

The substraite will also play a role in the colour of your gecko...Generally darker BG's means a darker gecko.

My patternless guy is bright yellow, but colors can vary!
That patternless looks a lot like a blizzard.. course there's not a lot of difference.
