u can get vermiculite in a garden store i believe or.....like always over the internet. your gecko isnt pregnate is it? if it is and u cant find vermiculite then u should find perlite.....and if all else fails you should find the nearest breeder and ask him/her if u can have/borrow/buy some from them. sorry that i couldnt help more
Walmart has both, vermiculite and perlite, most pet stores have mosses and Home Depot has spagnum moss.
Good Luck

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, when you criticize them you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
Try any place that has a garden centre (WalMart, Home Hardware, HomeDepot), and any local garden centres... all *should* carry it, but at least one of them will Very few pet stores carry it.
I actually disagree about Perlite not being able to hold moisture. I incubate my eggs in pertile it delicups (that have a few holes in the side) and once the perlite is wet it does not dry out at all. My girl was eating the vermiculite and I found it harbored mold more easily so I stopped using it.
