Trafic always seams to suck out here. I got stuck in trafic trying to leave after watching the fireworks in Langley.
It's going to be exciting out here....in only seven years.
Congrats to Vancouver.

Gee all that money they're going to spend, coulda been spent on something. Like hmmm, garbage cans, better roads, perhaps the frickin' transit system. Maybe they could do something about the tons and tons of addicts living on the streets stealing from the good people. You know we have the highest property crime in North America. Pretty sad.
It's all nice that Canada will have the Olympics in one of her cities, but I hope some of that money goes into bettering the lives of the Vancouverites.

There's one in every crowd! Pretty bad when you find out your country is the one hosting the next oplympics on a snake website. Oh well no one can say I don't visit often.
Congrats Vancouver!

Congrats Vancouver! Pretty exciting, I hope I can make it over to see something -- should be quite an experience!

Its actually DOESN'T snow up here. Last time we had snow on the ground for more than 3 days was probably the storm of 1996. We get snow MAYBE every 3 years or so here. Its the best place in the world to live (just don't tell anyone, because then they will ALL come here).

Having the olympics in your town sucks, trust me. I suffered through the Atlanta games. What a crock.

Im with you BWSmith we had them here years ago and it was nothing but a pain. I think the only thing possitive about it was there was an actual effort to clean up the state for the events. Traffic was HORRIBLE! We couldnt wait for it to be over with!

I'm happy Canada has the Olympics again but I 'm also glad I don't live in Vancouver anymore. It is busy and crowded enough there as it is, I guess I can go back for a visit when the games start though.
