My nephew and I were out "walking" Tonka when my doorbell rang. I asked Jeff to watch the tortoise while I went to answer the door. Unfortunately his attention wandered just long enough for Tonka to wander off. We looked high and low but didn't find him.
I know he can survive very well in this climate but I'm worried sick.
oh no Eyespy!! I would start by going to the neighbours with a picture of him and put posters up at the light posts. Torts wont travel all too far, so chances are he's close by. Good luck in finding him.
Well, I had luck of a sort. A lady from the next block brought a box turtle by. We released him in the field where she found him and I hope he has a good life, he's a cutiepie.
