So far to my knowledge.. (Currently own 4 of them) it takes time. I See many people sexing frilleds based on their frill size and that just doesnt work.. Some are incredibly obvious, i just recieved a baby that was said to be female, but its definatly male. You work with beardies right? Check out the pores the same way. It's pretty much exactly the same method, just sometimes they seem to hide the pores a bit better. good luck!
I usually sex them at a very young age by popping the hemipenis. It works really well, I've sexed over 100 of them that way. But you must be careful when they are small since they are more delicate. It helps if you've popped before.
