I was watching my baby bp today and when he was laying in the water dish I saw all of these mite like creatures all over the water dish there were dead ones in the water and live ones on the outside.I changed him water and dont know what to do now. What are these and how could I get rid of them. There like a yellow color and there tiny...Please help me...
Those 'mite-like creatures' are most likely mites....
I'm not an expert on this at all, but changing the water alone certainly won't do it, you'll have to use something like Nix or Provent-a-Mite to disinfect your snake and the enclosure AND the water dish, and everything else etc.....
I'm sure someone will post the how-to in more detail...

yea use paper towels for now. i think you should use something called provent-a-mite. not sure exactly. but,
i think you should stop going to that petstore where you are planning on buying all the animals for ur store from cause obviously they sell poor creatures since ur snake has mites.
Use the info there and be sure to clean the whole area not just the enclosure but all around where the enclosure sits.
Take care
Oh if you are housing feeders(mice) check their tank out. You may have to treat them as well because there is a chance your snake could have gotten mites from them. Pet stores are notorious for mites I'm learning. So if you arent breeding your own mice/ food this is another thing to consider since your snake can catch mites all over again from petstore feeders. Unless of course you're feeding frozen/thawed.
