Check under and in heat sources, or if it is hot check near colder sources and donot leave the door open and check near small bird or rodent cages.

time to break out some flour and dust the floor along the walls with it. and in the morning you can follow his/hers tracks also throw some clean towles in the dryer to warm them up and sit them on the floor. You may find the snake all curled up in them. those are the 2 tips i know in helping find a escape snake. Sorry never had to deal with it personaly. Hope you find him/her. GOOD LUCK hope this helps. Let us know how it turns out.

There he goes again.... The guys who gave him to me back in the fall said that he was loose in his house for almost 9 months! I guess old Hawk saw his chance and took it!

Well Vince, I'd say you should hunt for him the way you would in the wild. Get a flashlight and turn out the lights and hunt for him at dusk. You should also do all the things listed in this link ===> http://www.anapsid.org/escapedsnake.html

Good luck and let me know if there's anything I can help with...

Take it from experience. Don't only look down...look up.. mine returned to me after crawling out of the snake room, along the floor joists (closest to the foundations), across the suspended ceiling and then popped out in the laundry/mouse room, sitting on top of the hot water pipe. What a heck of a way to clean up the basement, now I just have to cleanup all the powder. Otherwise you can also take a F/T prey and put it in a box on a heating pad. I think the main attraction in my case was the mouse room. Don't forget to put out water dishes as well at key locations. If your neighbours are cool about your snake ownership, you may want to let them know what has happened. I debated about doing this but figured honesty was the best policy. My neighbours preggy wife was a little concerned but I explained that she has nothing to be concerned about and that the corn snake is not "deadly" If they know what to expect then there will be less chance something happening

I truly hope you find your little guy, I KNOW how stressful this is.

Best of Luck
