So many choices - and milks are great snakes. Hondurans are my favorites and I have attached photos of a couple of ours - both tangerines, but the male is a lot cleaner than the female - less black tipping on scales. They are nutcases as babies - very active, intense and all over the place when you first pick them up - far more than a cornsnake or cal king in my experience. No musking, but have bitten as youngsters when they feel you are ticking them off - a sort of chewing bite too - not just the open mouth strike of some. They settle down well as adults and can get to be big - 4 feet average, but our old female is almost 6 ft. Very impressive snake at that size. They eat a lot (and virtually everything) and they poop a lot (couple large, smelly ones a week) so they would be a real change from boids. Ours are active at dawn and dusk but pretty reclusive during the day - don't bask like our cal kings.

We have one Mexican milk and he is a real sweetie - at maturity is less than 3 feet. Again reclusive but active during evening, very gentle, no musking and wouldn't dream of biting. Ours is a very easy keeper - couple fuzzy mice every other week, but sensitive - easily frightened by larger prey - ours was scared by excessive dangling of a thawed hopper over a year ago and has not been willing to take a hopper since. They are very pretty snakes, managable size, quiet in hand and underappreciated I think.
