Hello! We took the jack for a walk today at Rogers Resevior (sp) in Newmarket, ON.
We saw one snake but I need hepl figuring out what it was....no photo either
It was about 8 inches long, pencil thin of course. Light grey body, with two slightly darker grey stripes going long ways from the neck all the way to the tail.
At the neck the head became a reddish/rusty/orange/brown color. The head was defintly a differen shade/color than the body was. I wasn't able to catch him but he climbed right over my foot before I realized him.
Any ideas?
