Question Burm feeding Question

hey
today i went to go feed my burm i usaly feed him pre killed knocked out or rats that have been beeten sensles. well today i fed him his first frosen thawed large rat. well he didnt eat it. so i jiggled it in front of his face in the same manner that i do when i feed him the pre killed but refuses. well any tips would be great. right now he is in the corner of my room in a bag with the rat and i will look in on him and his rat tomaro.

is it room temp? my burm wont eat frozen thawed unless its at least room temp. and even then i warm it up a lil bit with a heat lamp.

then again i normally just buy pre-killed and feed them to her while they are still warm.

try feeding it some sort of bird chicks pigeon ect they love them thats all that mine will eat and he grows about 10 inches a month

Be wary of feeding them a bird item, as they will usually only take certain items, after switching. A good hint is to thaw the rat out in very warm water, and when it is completely thawed, it will be warm and using tongs to wiggle it is all that is usually needed.

sometimes snakes dont eat because they are full up from there last meal. mabey u shud wait a while.
