New JCP

Wow~~ I have finally gotten my own JCP.....
she is from Henry Piorun. Just got her today with Paul McClearly's green anaconda....
she's a bit nippy and I only took her out for 5 min to take these shots...I can't wait to handle her.....and at least tame her down...

here they are

LOL THat's so funny, kitchen gloves!!! I always wear gloves to hold my bitey snakes. No reason to bleed on purpose!

She is gorgeous. I am still debating on a Jungle or an Irian Jaya, and I have been trying to make up my mind for two years now. Beautiful choice!

very nice jungle simon....nice dish gloves ya got there....i think most people would agree that after you take a bite from a little one like that, you see its not so bad and you'll get more brave.

I say, take the gloves off and take a bite intentionally, then you'll be able to relax around it a bit!

anyways, nice jcp!

Young morelia do tend to be nippy the first few months. I agree with removing the gloves. You want the snake to be used to your smell and the feel of your skin rather than the gloves smell/feel Good luck!

actually i find that kitchen gloves help to tame the snake down a little...i don't know why but i think its the taste of plastic that they dislike...but its also true that you want the snake to be familiar with your skin/smell..

Lovely girl you've got there I was actually looking at those 2 girls he had for sale -- did you get the more expensive one, or the other? I wish I could afford the expensive one, she's a killer!
