Benebac Paste

Hi, my poor little guy has a RI and so we've got baytril shots plus Benebac (Probiocin) paste.

I've looked into the subject on the net and understand it's sort of like acidophilus for us people. I was able to find it related to a bunch of different mammals, but was unable to find any reference to its usefulness with snakes. I'll be happy to give it to him, but just want to make sure there's no reason not to.

I know the vet is the pro at this and I should just trust what they suggest, but I want to be sure-- thanks!
