CRB sick respiratory infection advice

Hi I would like to start by saying
I came back from the vet today with very little help
I was told he looks grate mouth looks good (she hardly checked) I could see the Saliva from a foot away she didn’t check the roof of his mouth either (she did give a Baytril shot though)
So I am here
I have had my snake for 4 years normally grate eater, very active, never had any problems with him.
Long story short My thermostat went out lps has nothing
The temperature of the house is 65 F.
So he was like that for a month
Everything is fixed now but him.
I feel stupid but I need to know if their is anything that I can do to fix my mistake that I am missing?
or how long till I can put him back in his terrarium?

I found a reptile store they even looked him over they said he has a mild RI but put him on Cypress bark (I hate it ) not eco-earth with the thermostat every should be fine
He didn’t eat the rat they suggested ( normally feed retired Breeder mouse)
a few days pass lots of clicking
(Monday) I make a vet appointment they can’t see me for 2 week
Got a mouse still refusing to eat
yesterday he is lethargic barely moving no tongue flicking when picked up his throat puffs up like a bull frog and he makes a popping hissing sound when I hold him
Found another vet (2 hours away) the one that saw me today

Last night I put him on a hospital set up:10 gallon tank
with a plastic shoe box full of sphagnum moss outside the box I have a heat pad agents it set to 30 Celsius the probe is under him I have been doing a mist treatment with a nebulizer every 3 to 4 hours of water and eucalyptus oil (only a few drops)
He is more active today but still clicking, puffing and refusing food
I took a video of it don’t know how to post can if needed
kind of wish that I hadn’t treated him before I took him to the vet
