Hasn’t gone to the bathroom?

So I got my BP on Saturday, he ate on Monday. It’s Friday, and I can’t find any feces... I haven’t moved anything in the tank, or moved him, I was going to do that today, I don’t want to stress him out too much, but I don’t think he’s pooped yet at all! Why hasn’t he? Is he too stressed?

Nothing to worry about. He may not go every time you feed him.

My 3 ate on Monday too and they haven’t left me any presents yet either! It’s normal. My milksnake has just started to become active this evening so no doubt I’ll have a clean up within the next 24 hours!

Oh... Ok. But he'll go before his next meal? Or not?

Just feed him on his normal schedule. As long as he's got plenty of fresh water to drink, he'll poop when he's ready.

Nothing to worry about, they go when they need to.

The snake may or may not go before next feeding.

What size prey are you feeding and what is the weight of the snake?? If the prey is too small there will be no poop because the snake is using 100% of the prey item for growth and reserves.

They will also often hold on to it if they are getting ready to shed.

Don't you just hate it when they shed and then poo all over the shed! I've been trying to get a decent shed for the last 8 months for my son to take to school, but every one has either been in the water dish or full of faeces!

P.S My milk did poo this morning! However the Boas are still holding on.

Lol he literally just shed last night, still no poo. The breeder said he was 194 grams, (although I do plan on weighing him myself). I am feeding him f/t adult mice, but I intend to switch him to rat pups soon

It's probably coming. I made the mistake of taking my boy Tyson out the day after he shed last and within 5 minutes of being out he unloaded on me.

My python sheds are usually all rolled up, but can be carefully unrolled most of the time, the exception being when they poop basically in the shed. My King and hognose leave a beautiful one piece shed every time. My Kings is often stretched all around his enclosure like a family circus cartoon. But always one, beautiful piece. They look cool at over 4 feet, eye caps and mouth and vent always perfectly intact.
