How to transfer springtails?

OK, so I've had a tropical terrarium 12x12x18 set up for quite a while in the living room. It's got springtails in it, well established and doing great.

I have a new bioactive set up that actually has an animal in it. So I want to kind of boost the microfauna populations a bit as the order I got didn't seem to have very many in it.

I've been planning on tearing down the living room terrarium, moving the plants to something else as it just never ended up getting inhabitants. Is there a way to get at least a decent amount of those springtails out and away from the soil and then move them to my snake's bioactive set up?
