Hello everyone, great to be on this forum been snooping a bit and it seems far more informative and interesting than the one site in the UK so I chose this. Anyone else from the UK here? I'm from Runcorn near Liverpool. Hope to soak up all your knowledge and hopefully be able to provide some for others getting into the reptile hobby. Been researching for over two years, I was a member of Captive Bred Reptiles UK before it closed down but it's interesting to see what you guys across the pond keep and hear your experiences. I've just convinced my girlfriend that snakes are not vicious creatures since she saw me handle a friend's milk snake, got my daughter interested now which is great, I hope to teach her these are fascinating creatures and deserve the respect any other animal should get in captivity or as a pet, reptiles get a bad rap and we need to keep kids educated for the future of the hobby too, at least I'll know my daughter, should she choose to go into the hobby, should be a responsible pet owner and not tarnish the reputation of a hobby often frowned upon by the naive and ill informed.
