Ran across the cull bin of someone local and saw this guy fired up. He is a dark red with black that you can see some of in his tail blotches but decided to fade again between recovering from the drive and taking a pic while feeding. He's sitting on a tile for the food and water. The rest of the bin is coco fiber with bark and leaf shelter until I finish another bioactive enclosure with plants for him.
Absolutely adorable. Now I need a lizard. He is really gonna kill me.

Not showing good enough structure for future breeding I guess. We'll see how "he" matures since actually that's a 6" tile he's sitting on for size reference. Otherwise he's just cute and interesting.
Yeah, his head kind of struck me too when I saw him compared to the rest of the ones they had left. I'm not entirely sure what all structure people disliked, no one detailed, but from the crested group I haven't seen agreement in what structure is ideal anyway. Somewhere between balanced and large head leaning toward huge head lol Whatever. If it grows up and complements breeding well enough then extra yay and if not I have a little display gecko to tame and put on the stand I was going to set closest to my desk. My reptile room is in process.
