Macro Video Ideas

Hey folks,

I think it would be fun to take some POV video of my kingsnake exploring stuff. Problem is, the Canon 60D I use for filmmaking is huge, and has really shallow depth of field even at the narrower aperture settings. I was considering picking up a GoPro or just using my phone, but I wondered what everyone here was using for "down in the action" shots.
