I second that, they're also very easy to care for and if you wish you can later upgrade them to a naturalisric enclosure for a more natural range of behaviour
Used to keep a crested and a gargoyle, both had their own ten gallon. If price isn't a issuue look into knob tail geckos, you won't be disapointed. Aft would require a minimum 20 gallon because they grow much larger and require temps and humidity that a 10 gallon couldn't allow
