What Type of Snake Do I Have
Does anybody know what type of snake I have in the picture? My friend told me it was a albino burmese python, but I seem to think it is an albino ball python maybe.

Neither, it's a boa, no heat pits.

Re: What Type of Snake Do I Have
Is it yours? I think the set up could do with some improvements-it looks very dry for a start.

Re: What Type of Snake Do I Have
Indeed an Albino boa, I'd say Kahl Albino but that's more an educated guess than anything.

Re: What Type of Snake Do I Have
There's no way to tell visually what strain it is, but with Kahls being more likely to look dull and faded like that, and being more common, it's most likely Kahl.
As someone else mentioned, that snake is severely dehydrated. You want 70-80% humidity for common boas.

Re: What Type of Snake Do I Have
I disagree...its pretty easy to quite reliably tell almost every time an adult kahl from a sharp. Haven't been wrong yet. Babies and some of the multi genes are another story...but a single gene isn't hard to ID. That's a kahl.
