LGR Baby Update: G1

It looks like Amber will be the fourth Living Gems girl to deliver in 2016.

A stunning het hypo lady…

…she is a first-time breeder for us.

She was paired with Ramses, our classic line hypo male:

I’m forward to see what they produce!

As always, thank you for reading,

Re: LGR Baby Update: G1

Thank you all!

I think this will be a stunning litter.

The trick is that, as with all old-line hypos, it is hard to tell what quality color genes the full hypos carry. The neonates typically fall in a bell pattern around the average of the parents. Last year Ramses was paired with Pearl, another of our colorful het girls, and one baby hypo was real stand-out...she is, of course, still a holdback! ;-) Hopefully we will have similar luck this year.

Thank you all for the comments!
