My jungle has come up with a skin issue. Two grey spots have appeared within his black markings. I thought he had just rolled in poop so I gave the area a gentle wash but they're still there. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Looks really minor. Are you feeding live or f/t? IMO, i would switch him onto paper towels or unprinted newspaper until i could get a better idea of what it is. Could be a old minor injury that is resolving. WHAT ARE YOUR HUSBANDRY NUMBERS AND HOUSING AND HOW ARE YOU HEATING AND MONITORING THE ENCLOSURE IS KEY.
He shed a few weeks ago. I feed pre killed rats. I checked for mites and didn't find any signs of them and the suspect areas have not changed since I made my original post. I heat and monitor the enclosure with a completely enclosed bulb attached to a thermostat.
