A new oldy? or an old Newby?
I have had the opportunity to buy back a 'relic' from my past, sold this snake to a friend who wanted to breed him (Mere months before disaster struck). Extremely happy having him back, he has not changed much besides putting on a few pounds. Raised this guy and his brother from hatchling to adult, unlike his brother, this guy got lucky.. He's a pure Seleyar island dwarf retic born in 2009. He weighs 40lbs, and is an estimated 13ft.
This is picture of him at around 4 years old, a while before i sold him.
And now he is back with me in quarantine still, but he'll get a nice tub later.

Congrats! I recently got back one of my first snakes too, it's really great feeling to have 'em back, right?
And I love eyes of your guy! Shame that retics are soo big, haha!

It really is a great feeling. Letting this guy go, even though he was going to an amazing home and he was being put to good 'work', was still really hard. I love his silver eyes, it is especially nice because all my other retics have bright Orange/Red eyes. he is also very curious and interactive, comes right up to you when you sit in front of the terrarium.

Here's a (bad quality) close-up of one of his eyes, because of their size pictures don't do justice to their eyes that often.

Re: A new oldy? or an old Newby?
Fun retic fact... Would anyone believe me if i told them he has produced around 7,5 pounds of faeces since he got here.. I haven't fed him yet.. (I weighed him when he got here, he went from 47,5 to 40 after 3 big poops) Felt like mentioning...
