Re: The one I kept quiet about...
He is a hypo 66% het Leopard. He seems fairly friendly from the little bit of handling I have done with him!

Re: The one I kept quiet about...
[QUOTE=riddick07;987464]I got this guy around the same time as the Tarahumaras and they are all in quarantine together. This is the one I wouldn't have bought if I had known my old car needed the work on it done this month. But oh well I only have room for one more boa now.
MAN I love boas, they have such a great looking shape. Would have to be one of my favourite snakes that I legally can't own lol. I'd take a snake over a car anyway, and it looks wonderful

Gorgeous boa Riddick. I love the striping on his lower half.

Yeah when I looked up the leopards I saw they had visual markers for the gene. Funnily I actually think he looks better with all the markers than the actual leopard boa!

It might be the lighting he is pretty tan. I'll have to look at him a bit now just to be sure! He just ate so I don't want to bother him right this second. He has a really strong feeding response. Only his head was poking out from under the shavings but when he scented the mouse he exploded out and had it wrapped before I could blink.

Oh no I'm still paying for the work on the car to be done haha it just ended up on a credit card instead of out of pocket. I'm selling my old car but no one wants a car that doesn't have inspection stickers on it. The work being done on it is a little over 500 as long as everything goes well....of course that never happens so who knows how much it will be in the end. It's been sitting since I got my new car last year. Of course my new car had 300 dollars worth of work done on it too last weekend....brake stuff and stickers.
I do have a favorite car look apparently lol My old eclipse in the front and my new Altima at the end of the driveway. I compromised on the reliable car or sports car decision and got the Altima coupe last year.

That was one of my favorite parts! The head markings sold me though for some reason I really like those dots in the head stripe.

Re: The one I kept quiet about...
Wow, I was so caught up with the stripe that I missed his head pattern. Very unique and impressive critter indeed. Congrats on the nice score!

Re: The one I kept quiet about...
Beautiful, quite a bit of salmon pink color as well. Pics like that are why I almost never click on the boas whem I'm scrolling down the fauna classified pages, so hard to resist... lol.
